On the go…

It was supposed to be a “Naja” post next, after all, she is already more than a month old now, but I just had to share my opinions on this topic, as it’s happening to me right now.

I’m talking about business trips. Or not just business trips, but all the work/jobs people do, that get them away from their families for more than a day or two on a regular basis.

I don’t know how you do it, but I have big respect for you.

In my line of work, I’m lucky enough, to see my family every day, but when that rare week(s) come, when I have to go away for a couple of days, it’s hard.

Does it get easier with time?

Is it worth it?

Are you not sad to miss your kids childhood?

I just don’t see the bright side of it, and I know I couldn’t do it long term. There’s no money/experience/career, that’s worth missing out on my kids and family time.

Am I wrong?

Did I poke the wrong hole with this post?

Give me some feedback in comments, I’m really interested in your opinion, especially if you are one of those people.

How do you do it?

Ok, short post, gotta catch my flight now. I’ll probably have more time to write this week, so watch out for new posts.

Side note #1: Flying alone sux.

Side note #2: Anyone been to Mannheim before? Anything cool to see there? Must place to eat?
